Program Educational Objectives
Through General Geology, Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology, Mineralogy, Industrial Minerals and Mineral Exploration courses, the GE undergraduate program graduates will reveal their
interdisciplinary education, analytical talents and proficiencies within a short period of time following their graduation by:
- Developing and implementing tunnel, dam, bridge and similar geotechnical engineering designs
- Involving
in groundwater explorations and solving related problems
- Involving in exploration programs for metallic, non-metallic and energy resources
- Involving in soil classifications and positioning engineering structures during city and regional planning
by considering their environmental impacts including historical structures
- Transforming research and development projects that will contribute all fields of geological engineering into academic studies
