Project Support from TÜBİTAK to 14 Faculty Members
Results of “TÜBİTAK 1001 – Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program” call for the first period of 2022 have been announced. 14 projects from Istanbul Technical University are granted support under the program.

The evaluation of the “1001 – Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program” for the 1st period of 2022 given by TÜBİTAK to support research and development activities in scientific and technological fields, and to provide opportunities for the training and development of scientists and researchers, has been concluded.
In the 1st period of 2022, 1852 of the 1992 project proposals submitted within the scope of the 1001 program were subjected to scientific evaluation and as a result of the evaluation, it was decided to support 306 of the projects and that for 154 of the project proposals application can be made until July 28, 2022 without waiting for the next period. 14 of the supported projects are those prepared and submitted by ITU academics.
Projects, for which the panel evaluation process was concluded positively and will be evaluated on financial principles and similar issues within the framework of the first paragraph of Article 6 of the Regulation on Project Incentive and Support Principles, that were deemed worthy of support by TÜBİTAK and whose principal investigators are ITU faculty members, are listed as follows:
