ITU organized the 9th Geochemistry Symposium in Didim, Aydın between October 17-20. Scientists from many universities around the world showed great interest in the symposium.
Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kumral, who chaired the symposium held at Didim Laur Hotel on October 17-20, expressed the following words while thanking the participants: "In the Geochemistry Symposium, which was organized for the ninth time this year, presentations were made in many fields from environmental problems to industry, from mining to atmosphere. We thank our participants very much. We are very happy that our symposium was held in Didim, one of the most beautiful districts of our country with its culture, history and nature."
Approximately 250 scientists from many parts of the world participated in the symposium and held scientific discussions on many different topics such as mining, environment, atmosphere, industry, groundwater, petroleum, geothermal, marine and coastal habitats.
